When my sons were youngsters, they often talked about having a business together when they grew up. Never did any of us imagine that I would be a partner in that business or that the business would be a web site development company, but here we are! I’m also a news and technology junkie but, when I detach from my computer, I love spending time with my grandkids, going to lectures and performances, traveling, and getting together with friends.
Making sure that the developer and designer are a perfect match for each client’s unique project is one of the most important things that I do. I work with our clients to assess their needs and to assemble the right team. Then I coordinate the efforts of all as the work evolves. The diverse tasks involved in running any small business fill out the rest of my job description and keep me hopping.
I get to work with my talented family, with the best-ever clients, and with world-class designers and developers. Working conditions don’t come any better than that!
I have a degree in public relations from San Jose State University and have been a writer and project manager for more than 20 years. I was literally caught in the web while contracting as a project manager and a writer/editor for Cisco Systems in 1997. My first web project was to manage the creation of a presentation library for a Cisco business unit. I’ve kept right on spinning.
