A native San Franciscan, I have spent most of my life on the S.F. Peninsula. Fun, since retirement, is in having quality time to spend with our grandchildren and with longstanding friends. I love learning, all creative experiences and venues, and foreign travel.
I get to look at a pile of information and knit it into engaging text. I also get to look at existing text and suggest improvements. In other words, I do writing and editing. As a bonus, I sometimes get to consult over and critique page layouts, which really appeals to my interest in art and design.
The friendship that I share with Sharon reaches all the way back to our days in high school, and, as the words “retired” and “grandchildren” suggest, that’s been a long time. Always being in collaboration with her is special on many levels. I’m also proud to be associated with a group of people who hold in very high regard the concept of “a job well-done.”
I’m recently retired from a career in teaching at the elementary school level. My specialty for most of those years was in reading and language arts. Now I can apply the skills I taught to the work I do. Wordsmithing, in all of its various applications, is a creative and enjoyable challenge for me.
